New Year's resolutions

Are you into making resolutions for the new year?
I know some people are sceptic but I think it's not a bad idea to review your past year and rethink what you did good, what you did maybe not so good and what you would like your life to be like for the next year. It doesn't really matter when you do this rethinking, but the period of the switch of the year kind of feels more symbolic and special, doesn't it?
Besides I think that once you already take this time to think of what you really want (and maybe write it down), even if you do not take some concrete steps just now, you are more likely to unconsciously drive towards these goals. So what do you have to lose, right?;)

So I thought I share some of my new year resolutions with you as well..

  • Visit Estonia and my family more often
Kind of obvious, because they are important to me and I feel I have been a bad family member and bad Estonian.

  • Travel travel travel.
Visiting at least one new country or destination. This has been my secret and by-default resolution for every year as far as I can remember, no year would be complete without achieving this! I have a strong feeling I will be keeping up with this resolution also this year (have to tell you about it more in detail soon;)).

  • Take trips/spend more time with my sister.
Because we sisters should stick together and mine is especially special and sweet with me.

  •  Do something I never did before.
To get to know myself better. And because I think trying new things keeps you growing.

  •

  • Learn to communicate with tough people.
Now that's a bit of weird one for you maybe, but in my work I need to communicate with all types of persons and personalities and let me tell you that some of them make me lean my head on my hands and let out a sigh. I know there is a way to keep a relationship with even the toughest personalities, I just need to figure out how. Now that's a challange, but one I am interested in:)

  • Exercise regularly.
The most boring resolution anyone can ever make, and the least likely one to keep. But at least now that I got a new gym card (thats the first step, well done there) I have no excuse, I hope I can be more stable this year.

And to add to all these points I want to make a resolution to myself to take care of myself (with enough sleep and rest and reading and maybe an occasional new dress;)) and take care of  and work on the relationships that are important to me. This should be a resolution for everyone for ever year!

Did you make any resolutions yet? Mind to share some?:)
